I live close by the North Arm of the Fraser River and it is full of surprises and provide an abundance of subject matters for my paintings.  There are tug boats, fishing vessels, pleasure crafts, a pair of swan, ducks and wild fowls, geese and herons.  In the Spring,  some of the residents in the neighbourhood pointed out a nesting site of the blue heron high up on the willow tree and the bald eagle on top of another cotton wood tree.
